I've only used this soft box for two shooting sessions, but I was thrilled with the results. I'm just learning how to light by reading the Strobist blog and have been slowly acquiring a few pieces of equipment to use for shooting portraits. This is my first light modifier and it seems to do what I was hoping. A couple of points about it:

1) Works great with the Bogen light stand and umbrella adapter I purchased.

2) Collapses like an umbrella and is reasonably portable this way.

3) Is large enough that when I fire my flash into the soft box (to get indirect light) I get a very nice even illumination across my subject.

The only downside to this purchase is that I would like to purchase another one (to illuminate a bigger group) or a bigger soft box and more powerful lights!
