This motor replaced a bath fan motor (Universal Electric) installed in 1978. The AO Smith drawing for JA2C657N helped me confirm it would mount to the original to bracket and blower wheel, similar 3.3 " frame dimensions. The shaft is longer so it would need to be cut, or a hole drilled in the mounting cavity to let it poke thru. Beat having to bust out part of the ceing to install an entire replacement unit.
