I have a woodpecker router table and wanted a remotely located power switch and a port that I could plug a power cord into to bring power to the switch that would power the router and vacuum at the same time when the switch was turned on. I used a Leviton flanged inlet receptacle to plug a power cord into and a Cooper combo switch and power outlet for this project. I disassembled the box and drilled a 1 /1/8 hole opposite the stud brace to attach the flanged power inlet. The Cooper switch is very solid, has a good feel and positive engagement when switched on or off. The part I had my doubt with was stud brace. The brace is very sturdy and is easily adjusted to move the box as needed. I attached the brace to the angle iron router stand using two bolts and two machine screws and reattached the box. This box is well designed in every detail.
