We installed this in a 24-inch fixture over the door inside our pantry. The light quality is great: warm and even. But the description from Amazon/Smarthome is that the bulb is dimmer safe (which I take to mean can be used with a dimmer). But the instructions for the bulb (includes directions on how to modify a fluorescent fixture to work with the LED tubes) states that they are not dimmable. It turns out we don't need the ability to dim the bulb, but accuracy in the description would be appreciated. That aside, it's a great light that turns on instantly and runs silently. I would get more of these if the need arose.
