Product Description
Today's advanced fast ethernet and gigabit computer data networks require enhanced category 5 high-speed cabling to distribute data, voice and video. Our Cat5E 350Mhz Snagless Patch Cables will keep you ahead of the game. Our cables handle bandwidth intensive applications up to 350 Mhz and beyond. Each patch cable comes UL verified to meet all Cat 5e TIA/EIA standards, and drastically reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) as compared to standard 100 Mhz Cat 5 wire! This is accomplished by bonding together each of the individual pairs, helping to maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to your termination point. Constructed with high-quality wire and a shortened body plug will keep Near-end Crosstalk (NEXT) levels to a minimum. The molded, snag-free boot prevents unwanted cable snags during installation and provides extra strain-relief which is important. Our 350Mhz Snagless Patch cables are available in a variety of colors to easily color-code your network installation and help to better identify your rack layout.• Connector: 50-micron gold plated RJ-45 Male to Male• Conductor: 4-pair 24 AWG Stranded Copper• Jacket: PVC• Molded, Snag-Free boot prevents unwanted cable snags• Applications:o 1000 BASE-T; 100 BASE-T; 10 BASE-T (IEEE 802.3)o 4/16 Mbps Token Ring (IEEE 802.5); 100 VG-AnyLANo 100 Mbps TP-PMD (ANSI X3T9.5); 55/155 Mbps ATMo Voice• Designed For: Network Adapters, Hubs, Switches, Routers, DSL/Cable Modems, Patch Panels and other twisted-pair applications• Meets or Exceeds Category 5e specifications• Wired: TSB 568B (AT&T 258A)• Certifications: TIA/EIA; UL ListedCat 5e Ethernet Patch Cable - 100-foot Review
Apparently 100-foot cords for video/security cameras are not a good idea. Please test the working order of your cord BEFORE you run it! I ran this under my ceiling tiles from one side of the house to the other then plugged it in and NOTHING...it didn't work. I did contact the company and they offered to replace it but I told them I didn't want to undo the whole cord to send it back, nor did I want to chance another one. They did give me a full refund without my having to return the cord - which shall forever remain in the ceiling :)I do not recommend the 100-ft cable; however I would not shy away from this company as they did have great customer service and I realize sometimes there are bad cords in a batch.
