I bought this and the Salamander Chameleon Geneva cabinet from Amazon. The active cooling rear panel snaps into the rear of the cabinet, and has slots at the top and bottom to run speaker and power cables. It's a little difficult to install, as it's a very tight fit. Once installed, it does a great job of keeping the electronics cool with the auto-sensing thermostat that sits atop your electronic equipment. The two fans are quiet enough that I don't notice them running unless I am right next to the cabinet.Overall, I think this cooling panel is a good idea if you want to enclose your home theater receiver and other electronics in a cabinet without the risk of overheating. I think it should be about half the price, but the fact that it's custom fit for the cabinet makes it a good complement for the Chameleon series cabinets.
