When you first look at these Belkin cables, the first thing you'll notice that they have heft. They feel good in the hands. The wires are well shielded with a thick outer coat, helping to protect the wires from potential outside noise. The next thing you'll see are the connectors - they are as solid as they look and fit snugly into the jacks. These cables are not getting loose any time soon.

The proof, though, is in the pudding. Due to HDMI from my cable box not working when connected to my receiver (DRM issues) I needed to go component in order to have all controls routed through the receiver. I can honestly say I can't see any image loss between DVI to HDMI and Component. Not on a 42 inch LCD. From looking over on A/V forums, it appears that most people don't see an issue either. The images are still 1080p and still look out of this world.

The cost of these cables is in the sweet spot too. I knew that, for me, 6 feet was too long. I hate having too much extra slack. I was willing to pay the slight premium for 3 feet.

For the money, you really can't go wrong with these Belkin cables. They are well built and deliver wonderful image quality. What more do you need?
