I bought one of these lights to see if it solved a problem that I had with another set of candelabra-base bulbs for a dining room fixture. I had experienced two difficulties: the old bulbs had E11 bases (there are two standards so E11 bulbs won't work properly in E12 sockets) and they stopped working after a few months. I have since bought 5 more of these bulbs to fill out the chandelier. At this point, I have no idea how long they will last; I'll post an update to this review if they begin to fail. I advise anybody considering purchasing any candelabra-base light bulb to insist that the seller provide the exact base specification, and to make sure that the socket for which the bulb is purchased matches.
