Cool white is that awful flourescent color we all hate that makes us look like dead bodies. Get warm white instead - or whatever they call bulbs with a much lower "####K" measurement.
The bulbs worked and all, though -- mostly. They won't dim, but maybe that's a problem with my fixture & dimmer.
