These lights are surprisingly bright considering the price. The wires are relatively short, so I needed to splice in longer wires. The mounting hardware seems sufficient, but only time will tell how it holds up. I have installed the lights as running lights on a motorcycle (mounted to the frame), and they might be too bright for that application. The beam pattern is very wide and not focused, even though I requested the spot beam pattern. It is possible that the wrong lights were shipped, or that the "spot" pattern is, in fact, very wide. In my application (as running lights) the wide pattern is not a problem, as they really increase my visibility. It seems that each light puts out more light that my halogen headlight at high-beam. Overall, I think this is a great product, but cannot yet comment on long term reliability.
