I purchase 3 of these fans back in June 2010, I bought them because they were rated on the internet as one of the best and that is why the price is so HIGH. However; now approximately 5 months later I have 2 of the 3 fans making terrible noise intermittently (sounds just like the cheap fans when the bearings go bad). The very reason I bought these fans was because they are NOT supposed to go bad. I was looking for a fan with a LONG MTF, and ball bearings that would last a long time. I typically buy $5 fans but they only last 2 years so I figured I would buy a $20 fan and get 8 years (see the logic). I figured especially with the super ball bearing design they would last for an extremely long time. The vendor I bought them from here on Amazon (Beach Audio) will not replace them, they told me to deal directly with the manufacture. So far they have not returned my repeated calls or my email. Don't waste your money on these just get the $5 dollar fans and replace them every 2 years or so.

The Short: Very poor product, poor vendor should replace product and deal with the manufacture that already have communication lines set. Beach Audio is the vendor on Amazon, you make your own judgment on if you want to purchase from them.
