When I was at a pool/spa party last Summer I was mesmerized by the ever-changing colors of this light, and so it was mandatory that I get one for my own spa. Fairly easy to install for you do-it-yourselfers, and not anything too time-consuming (and therefore $$$-consuming) if you have to hire a professional to do it for you. There are 7 different color changing programs, including alternating red-and-green, which is perfect for Christmas, and all you need to do to "program" the light is to turn the light switch off and/or on at certain brief intervals -- no remote or other equipment required! You can also program the light to stay one color steadily if you're not into flashing, changing colors. Among the colors are 2 shades of blue, violet, orange, red, magenta, and white. I turn mine on every night to add some "mood" to my backyard, and makes a great "nightlight" if your windows face your spa. [NOTE: This is a smaller version of the color-changing pool light made by the same manufacturer.]
