It keeps my tea hot for about 3 hrs. I love the feature of the handle controlling the opening--no opening spouts first just press down and its open, let go and its closed so no worries about spilling. It's perfect in a hospital setting where you cannot have open containers on the floors. Fits nicely in drink console in car. I love it and would order same one again if needed. Worth the pricey-ness.
