Have purchased three of these locally.

First one was defective, lasted 15 minutes. Second one lasted months and months of rough use. Eventually the metal cage of my trouble-light got bent, the next time I dropped it, the glass part of the bulb broke away from the base. The light--even though the twisty part was flopping around--still worked for about a month before dying. Currently using the third bulb.

They're slow to warm up when cold. Very dim for the first ten or twenty seconds.

The color of the light is typical florescent--irritating. Bright light when warmed-up, but poor color light. You couldn't use this in a body shop where you had to match paint colors.

The advantage here is that they don't get hot and burn you or the plastic of the vehicle you're working on. That's the ONLY reason I use these instead of rough-service incandescent lights; and if there was such a thing as a CFL that was made in America, I'd never buy another one of these.

MADE IN COMMUNIST CHINA, so you can expect quality problems--as I found out with the first one.
