Used during Christmas time for some festive landscape lighting -

Color fades somewhat quickly

By the end of the winter my wife wanted me to put the regular bulbs back in. I was lazy and kept putting it off and eventually the bulbs pretty much transformed to "regular" lights all by themselves as the (painted?) color faded/disappeared.

So these will indeed get you some festive Christmas lighting but you wont be reusing them the next year.

I'll post pics of the ones I just took out after a year.

All in all I'd buy them again if nothing else were available at the price.

I didnt technically use the bulbs for their intended automotive use but they did the dob for more than the 500 hr life span that is stated in the description.
