I have tried many light bulbs and these are by far my favorite. I hate light bulbs that produce yellow light - it just seems so unnatural. These bulbs produce a beautiful white light that isn't too dull and isn't too bright. They fit in all my lamps and ceiling lights, except those that require a candelabra base. I have tried other fluorescent light bulbs and they were so large in diameter that they didn't fit in the lamp shade or in the ceiling fan. This bulb is just the right size. I have bought these before and they lasted a minimum of 9+ years. I would definitely recommend this light bulb and you get the added advantage of full spectrum light which can be helpful to those who have Seasonal Affective Disorder.
