Designers Edge L-612 12 Watt High Power LED PAR30 Bulb Review

I've been looking for affordable LED PAR bulbs for a while, so I grabbed one of these Monday at Amazon's price of $11.36 with 2-day free Prime shipping.

On trying it out on Wednesday, I found that the beam illumination is not quite even. There's a noticeable hot spot in the very center. I don't have any measurement instruments, but it doesn't look like the bulb puts out as much light as a 75W incandescent PAR light, as claimed. The spec on the item page states it emits 250 lumens. I found 75W incandescent bulbs elsewhere that were rated at 1100 lumens! That's more than 4X the output of the LED bulb.

Clearly there are some major problems with the claims about this item. Another false claim is that this bulb "can save up to $87.60 per year in energy costs." On the package it says that claim is based on 10 hours a day, 365 days a year, at an electric rate of .08 per KWH. Well, that's 3650 hours of use. This bulb uses 12W compared to 75W, a savings of 63W. Multiply it all out and you would save 230 KWH per year, at .08 comes to $18.40 a year savings. That's only 21% of the claimed saving!

However, since the price was low I decided to order more for testing in an art gallery. The item page said there were 12 in stock, so I was surprised when I tried to order 10 bulbs and the Amazon shopping cart popped up a message saying only 6 per customer, and it automatically reduced the quantity to 6. Then at the next step in the checkout process it said there were still too many, and reduced the quantity to 5. There was no warning or information on the product page saying the quantity per customer was limited, so that was annoying. The price had gone up more than 10% to $12.87 each, but I finished placing my order.

Today, on Thursday, I returned to Amazon's page for this item and found the price had jumped up over 500% to a whopping $79.45 each! I will not be buying any more of these at that price and would not recommend them. I found the same item elsewhere for less than half the price.

I like ordering from Amazon with Prime delivery, but not at the hugely increased price, not to mention the false claims about brightness and power bill savings.

The description on product page says that it's a STP, the label on the bag in which the cable was sent to me, says that it's a STP, but the markings on the cable say it's a FTP. It will work for me because I needed to block EMI in and out, but STP would eliminate a cross talking between the pairs. In my case I use this cable for network printer, so I hope it won't be critical. Just be aware, that this is not a STP cable, well, at least the cable what I got. Since the seller is the only one, my guess all cables 25Ft 5E from this seller would be the same.
This cable is CAT5E FTP.
PS. I just got a letter from InstallerParts seller. They take their business seriously. So I got a refund and they wrote: " Very sorry for the misleading info, we will start to correct it right away (several thousand edits will be fun)" So hopefully everyone else after that going to buy the cable with Category as it prompted.
I like that kind of business, I would buy from them again without hesitation.

A relevant detail I still can't find in the specification of these Spectra Brite 90 Full Spectrum 500K T8's is thir length (at the time of this writing). These are 24-inch (2' bulbs). I ordered them along with a couple of other 5000K T8 bulbs I wanted to check out in 4-foot lengths, and so I got lost in the whole 'full spectrum' pitch here along with the other offerings and since the length isn't in the spec I inadvertantly ordered these. The 17W factor these bulbs are rated for should've caught my eye.
